Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation (SXFN) is hiring two full‑time teachers for Rosie Seymour Elementary/Secondary School (RSESS): a Primary Teacher for Grades K4–3 and an Intermediate Teacher for Grades 4–7.

RSESS is a First Nation‑operated school with 16 students, following the BC curriculum in partnership with the First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) and the First Nations Schools Association (FNSA) to support student success.

Rosie Seymour is located in Stswecemc (Canoe Creek), BC, a semi‑remote community approximately one hour west of Clinton by gravel road.

Teachers at RSESS, under the direction of the Principal, plan and deliver BC curriculum lessons and related programming.

Qualifications and Certification

• Minimum Bachelor of Education degree
• Valid BC teaching certification or eligibility for certification through the BC Teacher Regulation Branch
