Interim Assistant Accountant

Position: Interim Assistant Accountant Duration: 6-months Location: Ayrshire (office based) Start: Immediate Salary: Competitive daily rate Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting a well-established, family-owned business in Ayrshire to appoint an Interim Assistant Accountant for a 6-month period. Key Responsibilities: Performing daily bank reconciliations Credit card reconciliations and analysis Supporting month-end close processes Posting journals, including accruals and prepayments Completing balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with cost analysis and reporting Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the general ledger Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills Comfortable working with Excel and finance systems Available at short notice with access to a car for commuting purposes For more information on this role, please contact Christina Mc...
