Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist Insulators in the installation, maintenance, repair and removal of thermal, acoustic and fireproof insulation systems.
- Support insulation activities on piping, vessels, tanks, equipment, ducts and associated components.
- Carry insulation materials, tools and equipment to and from work locations.
- Assist in measuring, cutting, shaping and fitting insulation materials under the guidance of Insulators.
- Support the installation of metal cladding, jacketing and protective coverings.
- Help remove damaged or deteriorated insulation during maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces and removing debris before insulation work begins.
- Load, unload, sort and store insulation materials in designated locations.
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work areas, workshops and storage locations.
