Job Description

CRITICAL PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES Perform structured fault finding on PLC-controlled process plants, SCADA systems and field instrumentation, including diagnosis of communication networks (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) Involvement with small scale software changes and programming of PLC and SCADA systems Calibrate and verify temperature, pressure, flow, level, pH, ORP and conductivity instruments in accordance with OEM specifications and site standards (experience with OEMs such as Vega and Endress+Hauser will be advantageous). Assemble, disassemble, test, maintain and repair instrumentation used in water treatment and chemical processes, ensuring minimum plant downtime. Audit, control and maintain instrumentation spares inventory, ensuring critical spares availability and accurate documentation in line with Proxa standards.
