Job Description
Lead practical legal education in the Environmental Law Clinic at the University of Ottawa. Collaborate with Ecojustice to mentor students on pressing environmental law issues.
This role is available for the 2026 Fall Semester and allows students to gain hands-on experience in legal advocacy. As an instructor, you will oversee student projects focused on environmental cases, providing vital support and guidance. Candidates should possess a recognized law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) and substantial environmental law experience, preferably with Ecojustice ties. Teaching experience will be a notable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct students in environmental advocacy initiatives
• Guide legal research, memorandum drafting, and strategies
• Assist with community-focused environmental law projects
