INL Maritime Interdiction Advisor

Travel Requirements: Regular travel to rural areas, coastal towns, and occasionally to large cities throughout Colombia

Position Description

ATSG is presently identifying candidates for Maritime Interdiction Advisor in Bogotá, Colombia, in support of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). This position is contingent upon award and hiring decisions will be finalized once the contract is granted.

The role is located in the INL Section at the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá. The adviser will provide advice and implement security assistance projects to enhance the maritime narcotics interdiction capabilities of the Colombian navy, Coast Guard, and Marines, and will work closely with U.S. and Colombian counterparts to foster cooperation throughout Colombia’s security forces. The adviser will reside in Bogotá with considerable time spent traveling and working in the field.
