Summary This INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST is part of the CA 195th WG. Responsibilities THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION Indefinite appointment cannot exceed 5 years. Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST, GS-0080-12, is to serve as the Wing Chief of Information Protection at Air National Guard facilities. Accountable for achieving program goals and objectives across multiple functions and disciplines and providing a focused, seamless, and supportive environment for protecting information in order to conduct effective air, space and cyberspace operations. Chairs the Wing Security Advisory Group (WSAG) or facsimile and directs activities of its diverse membership to develop risk assessments and analyses.
