Position Summary:The Infection Control/Nurse Educator is a registered professional nurse who will facilitate orientation for all new staff, focusing on nurses in the classroom setting during the last half of orientation, teaching and assessing many competencies and passing new staff off to preceptors who will oversee the completion of the orientation competencies. Assists with formulation and implementation of training in areas identified as requiring follow-up and/or refresher education including but not limited to multi-cultural awareness and a diversity sensitivity curriculum.
