Job Description
Elevate healthcare standards as the IPAC Manager at Extendicare in Kawartha Lakes. Your role will focus on implementing infection control strategies to enhance resident care and safety.
As the Infection Control Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Director to ensure compliance with infection control standards, leading the IPAC team and facilitating staff training. Your work will directly impact health outcomes through auditing procedures and fostering a culture centered on quality and safety in resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate the IPAC education program
• Conduct audits and analyze IPAC practices
• Ensure compliance with health authority directives
• Collaborate with public health and interdisciplinary teams
• Develop quality improvement action plans
Requirements:
• IPAC Canada certification or equivalent required
• At least three years in healthcare management
• Strong communication and leadership skills
