Industrial Seamstress / Sewer

Sportsman Boats is looking for an Industrial Sewer who will be responsible for creating quality cushions for our premium boats. This involves cutting, measuring, and sewing, and ensuring an efficient manufacturing process for marine seating, including fabricating, repairing, and replacing seat upholstery, as well as complete seat-building duties. This is a full-time position.  Our schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Hours may vary based on the needs of the company.  

What you will do:

+ Operate sewing machine to create high-quality cushions meeting daily/weekly production numbers of units.

+ Sewing machine setup (changing thread, bobbins, and needles as needed.)

+ Single needle prepping and joining

+ Create and cut patterns

+ Inspect cushions for defects, damage, or stains
