Job Description
Join the W’SANEC Health Directors in providing culturally safe health services as a Family Practitioner. Work directly with Indigenous communities, delivering holistic care in British Columbia.
This role is based in partnership with the W’SANEC communities, starting at Tsawout First Nation and transitioning to the WSANEC clinic. Ideal candidates will have experience in Indigenous healthcare, including trauma-informed care and cultural safety principles. Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, you will address the unique health needs of the community while utilizing a hub and spoke model for service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary care services in community settings
• Collaborate with Indigenous wellness supports and health professionals
• Monitor patient progress in opioid agonist treatment programs
• Engage with community members on health initiatives
• Facilitate culturally informed healthcare practices
