Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the Director of Programs & Community Services or designate, the Indigenous Birth Support Worker will work as part of the Community Health Maternal Child Health Program and Womens Health Team to provide wholistic care to women and families within the eleven FHQTC communities. The Indigenous Birth Support Worker will offer support and help to pregnant women, advocate for the mother to support a positive birth experience and ensure cultural traditions and/or ceremonies are available and respected.
