Job Summary

As an Animal Health Technician for the Toxicology team in Senneville, you will be responsible for the well‑being of laboratory animals, ensuring their health and the integrity of pre‑clinical studies.

Responsibilities

• Administer test items and medications to animals (gavage, intramuscular, subcutaneous and intravenous injections)
• Perform sample collection (blood, urine, etc.)
• Collect data (body weight, food consumption, clinical signs, etc.)
• Handle animals for any required activities
• Clean all types of animal housing and accessories

Qualifications

• Good observation skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 20kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.
• Understanding of written English
• College Diploma in Animal Health or Environmental and Wildlife Management
• Bachelors degree in Biology or any related Animal Science discipline
