Immunisation Officer, Health Protection Policy & Program

About the role:
The Immunisation Operations and Systems Team is responsible for managing the procurement, forecasting, receipting, warehousing and distribution of vaccines. The team is also responsible for the development and utilisation of technology and systems to facilitate the ordering of vaccines and to monitor distribution trends and ordering behaviours. 
Reporting to the Manager - Vaccine Operations and Systems within the Immunisation Unit, the Operations Officer is responsible for quality administrative and customer service support for immunisation providers in Victoria and contributes to the effective and efficient operations of the team. This role supports vaccine distribution between the department's contracted vaccine warehouse supplier and immunisation providers in Victoria, with a commitment to continuous improvement and delivery of quality, customer focused service.
