Job Description
Ellis Don is looking for a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician with our Facilities Services department to work on one of Alberta’s largest career defining projects.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance on the Refrigeration/HVAC (HVACR) systems.
- Coordinate with assigned foreman and/or other trades to complete work orders efficiently.
- Inform personnel regarding procedures and status of work orders to support decision making and regulatory compliance.
- Inspect HVACR systems and components (e.g., heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, refrigeration plants, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive or corrective maintenance.
- Install heating and air conditioning equipment and systems to enhance and upgrade capabilities.
- Repair heating and air conditioning systems and components (e.g., pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc...
