Job Description
Senior HVAC Craftsperson
Location: British Steel, Scunthorpe (On-site)
Start Date: 1st June 2026
Responsibilities
- Carrying out HVAC maintenance and minor installation works across the site
- Diagnosing faults and ensuring systems run efficiently and safely
- Working independently once fully onboarded
- Using a company vehicle to travel across site and manage tasks
- Participating in an on‑call rota (approx. 1 in 3–4 weeks)
- Responding to out-of-hours call‑outs when required
- Adhering to site safety standards and working within a dirty industrial environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and installation
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workloadl
- Strong problem‑solving skills, proactive approach
- Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment
