Job Description
Join our Human Resources team as a Human Resources Specialist for Attendance Leave at our Michigan Assembly Plant. You will be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for attendance management, administering the National Attendance Program (NAP) as outlined in the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the UAW. This role requires exceptional administrative precision and highly developed interpersonal skills to manage attendance-related discipline and resolve conflicts.
Responsibilities
+ Administer the National Attendance Program (NAP) ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant practices in accordance with agreements and policies.
+ Serve as the on-site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for NAP policies, FMLA regulations, Medical Leaves of Absence, and bereavement.
