HSEQ/Marine Superintendent; DPA/CSO (or alternative DPA/CSO) for BULK CARRIER SHIPS

Responsibilities

• Conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitoring compliance with ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS and company Safety Management System requirements.
• Coordinating internal audits and supporting external audits conducted by Flag State, Class and third-party auditors.
• Ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement of Safety Management System procedures.
• Reviewing safety alerts, industry lessons learned and regulatory updates, ensuring fleet-wide implementation.
• Guiding marine related matters to ensure the best and safe practices are in use (e.g. cargo handling, PSC and Safety Inspections responses, emergency preparedness, navigation, safety, etc.).
• Assisting Marine Operation Lead and Contract Manager in operations.
