The successful candidate will provide clear leadership to deliver strategic priorities and meet financial targets as a member of the Directorate’s Senior Leadership Team. They will update and advise elected members on operational and policy issues related to the Service, lead with a clear identity in terms of flexible and responsive ways of working, promote an inclusive and diverse culture, and maintain a high level of employee engagement and wellbeing. They will also undertake representational and communication duties to promote and protect interests in matters concerning their specialist areas.
