Housekeeping Aid Supervisor

Summary This position is located within Environmental Management Services (EMS) of the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. The primary purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in supporting and performing tasks associated with the EMS goals and objectives. Tours of duty may vary depending on the internal department needs with weekdays, weekends, day and evening shift schedules. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to: Supervises assigned Housekeeping Aids in grads WL-3566-2, WG-3566-2, 3, and 4 and responsible for work distribution among the work force Directs staff in a variety of tasks involving sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, waxing floors, window interiors, bathroom fixtures and carpets Routinely monitors staffing of their assigned unit to ensure adequate coverage throughout the medical center.
