Job Description
Summary/Objective:
- The AWS / Esri Platform Architect is responsible for the design, deployment, and operational oversight of the organization’s hosted geospatial platform running within AWS.
- This role is both operational and strategic, contributing directly to technical decisions regarding the architecture, performance, and reliability of the platform.
- This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in the Esri ecosystem in a cloud infrastructure, guiding architectural decisions related to ArcGIS Enterprise deployments, map service hosting, licensing infrastructure, and supporting spatial database environments.
- The role will work closely with peers, product teams, Implementation, and customer support teams to ensure the platform operates reliably and scales effectively to meet customer needs.
