Homelessness Support Worker

Your Opportunity

Assist and support clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying health and personal issues. The role will assist the daily operations of the crisis unit whilst offering the highest level of care and support to our clients.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Provide practical support to crisis clients
• Maintain vigilance in personal safety and awareness, whilst offering the highest level of care and support to clients        
• Liaise with and support unit coordinators/case workers with client interactions and issues
• Complete shift checklist tasks and handover processes
• Maintain dry food storage room, freezers and cool room
• Ensure garbage is placed out for collection and recycling managed
• Ensure client requests for accommodation are promptly recorded
