HLTA: Outdoor & Classroom Inclusion Support (Term-Time)

Dorset Council is looking for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for the Compass Learning Centre in Weymouth. The role starts on 1 September 2026 and is fixed term until 31 August 2027, focusing on supporting students with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will possess qualified HLTA status and a passion for outdoor education. Responsibilities include supporting classroom subjects and promoting positive behaviour management in small groups.

Salary ranges from £23,957 to £27,172 depending on experience for a 32-hour work week during term time.
