Job Description
Job Title: HGV Mechanic
Location: Manchester (M29)
Salary: £17.00 - £20.00 p/hr (DOE)
Hours: Basic 50hrs per week
Contract: Permanent
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our client based in Greater Manchester. The position is Monday to Friday with weekend work as required. Basic hours are 50 hours per week, which equates to a salary of £44,200 - £52,000 depending on experience.
As the HGV Mechanic, your responsibilities will be;
To repair company vehicles & trailers in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current regulations
Contributing to good housekeeping routines to meet Health & Safety requirements
Ensuring that all jobs are completed correctly and deadlines are met.
Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.
To communicate effectively with the Transport Manager
