# HGV 1 Driver
Location: United Kingdom (onsite/depot-based)
## About the role
We are seeking a professional HGV 1 Driver to join our fleet. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.
## Key responsibilities
Safely operate HGV 1 (C+E) vehicles to transport goods
Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections
Load and unload cargo, securing loads as required
Plan routes efficiently and adhere to delivery schedules
Maintain accurate driving and delivery records
Assist with warehouse duties when required
Ensure compliance with driver hours, tachograph, and road transport regulations
Report any faults or incidents promptly to the supervisor

Valid UK HGV 1 (C+E) licence and up-to-date CPC
Must be able to drive lorrys
