Duties and Responsibilities of a Helper

• Works with salesman and driver to deliver products to customers and clients.
• Responsible for all tasks such as loading and unloading the truck.
• Assure that all items for delivery are safely loaded and secured.
• Compile accurate delivery records and reports.
• Ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and professional manner.
• Obtain clients’ and customers’ signatures as acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.
• Ensure all documents (stock transfer forms) are original and not tampered.
• Complete the daily trip ticket including submitting a timely report of incidents of lost, stolen or damaged goods while in transit.
• Report all delivery-related problems to senior staff or manager.
• Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
