A local authority that is looking to appoint an experienced Heat Network &Metering Specialist on an interim basis to lead a keypliance and strategy
programme ahead of the January 2027 Heat Metering regulations deadline.
Your new role 
This role will be
responsible for ensuring regulatorypliance across the council’s heat
networks and sheltered housing schemes, including:
 Providing expert guidance on Heat Metering regulations andpliance requirements 
 Developing metering policies, procedures and strategies 
 Advising on the suitability of metering solutions across different property types 
 Establishing reporting processes in line with Ofgem requirements 
 Leading tenant engagement activities and managing the impact of regulatory changes on residents 
 Overseeing procurement activities, contractual requirements and ongoing contract management
