Job Description Transport patients to and from their designated pick up and drop off points in a safe and timely manner, working closely with the van escort to provide comfortable and safe care during journeys.

• Plan the daily route to transport patients to and from their designated pick up / drop off point in a safe and timely manner
• Work closely with the van escort to provide comfortable and safe care to the patients during the journey, as well as to transport them safely at all times
• Notify the Senior Manager immediately of any safety concerns or behavioural issues of patients should any be observed during the journey
• Comply with all road safety regulations of the Traffic Police
• Plan transport arrangement for patient outings
• Ensure that the maintenance schedule for all vans are adhered to
