Healthcare Assistant
Joint Diagnostic World as a Healthcare Assistant working in community-based Health Centres. As a healthcare assistant, you will provide the best patient care while assisting Sonographers during ultrasound scanning procedures for NHS patients.
Valid driver’s licence and access to a car essential.
Your Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport portable ultrasound scanner and equipment between practices as required.
- Carry out patient care duties and assist Sonographers, acting as a chaperone during clinics, including the use of IT equipment.
- Provide aftercare for patients following scanning procedures.
- Assist sonographers with cleaning requirements.
- Ensure clinic rooms are clean and restored to their original state.
- Adhere to company policy and procedures concerning health & safety, data protection, and confidentiality.
