Job Description
Working under the supervision and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the healthcareassistant will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
Main duties of the job
- Blood PressureMonitoring
- ECG Recording
- Patient healthchecks including Learning Disabilities, Mental health and NHS health Checks
- Diabetic Foot Checks
- Vaccination andimmunisation within HCA competencies
- Basic wound care
- Ear Syringing
- Processing andmanagement of laboratory samples requested by GPs or nurses.
- Sterilising,cleansing and maintenance of surgical equipment.
- Vaccine or cold chainstorage, monitoring and recording.
