GENERAL SUMMARY
Location:Henry Ford Providence Southfield
Unit:Clincial Decision Unit
Shift:7am - 7:30pm / 36 hours per week
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Greets patients, visitors, and new admissions.
+ Answers general inquiries and schedules patients for appointments. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls.
+ Performs general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution.
+ Creates various reports and documents as assigned.
+ Helps patients/residents with basic technology and social media.
+ Communicates with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care.
+ Performs unit safety checks. Assists with meeting patient needs and escalates as appropriate.
+ May assist with meals, pass and collect trays, pass out activities, and transport patients/residents through facility.
