Health Technician (Transportation)

Summary The Health Technician (Transportation) is assigned to Nursing Operations. The primary responsibilities of the incumbent are the safe and timely transporting of patients and facilitating patient transport throughout the Medical Center. The incumbent will support every clinic within the Medical Center including all ambulatory clinics and all inpatient wards on all floors of the Atrium and Emergency areas, all floors of the main bed tower in the main hospital, and all floors of CARES tower. Responsibilities The Health Technician (Transportation) duties include, but are not limited to: Expert of all locations of the medical center and have a deep understanding of patient transportation principles. Ensure that special medical equipment (oxygen cannulas, masks, and oxygen tanks or indwelling/ex-dwelling catheters, etc.) is correctly positioned for transport and operating properly.
