Job Description

Summary You will serve as a HEALTH PHYSICIST in the Radiological Control Office of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will investigate, resolve, document, and reviews circumstances surrounding unusual dosimetry occurrences. You will prepare and evaluate reports of investigations, analyses and surveys to provide assessments, conclusions, and recommendations of program changes/modifications to fulfill the objectives. You will operate and maintain complex dosimetry processing systems. You will conduct personnel dosimetry investigations to determine personnel exposures in cases where malfunction of equipment or discrepancies are identified. You will implement and maintain complex analysis instrumentation and associated software and procedures for various types of routine and unusual radioactivity analyses.
