Health and safety officer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Health and Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and monitoring Health and Safety systems while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, company standards and customer-specific safety requirements within the mining and processing industry. Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Minimum 3 years' experience as a Health and Safety Officer within the mining and processing industry Minimum 3 years' experience supervising or managing personnel Relevant Health and Safety qualification SAMTRAC Certificate Incident and Accident Investigation training National Diploma in Safety Management (advantageous) Valid South African Driver's Licence Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites Knowledge and Experience
