M’Chigeeng First Nation seeks a Healing Model Therapist dedicated to enhancing mental wellness within the community. Provide therapeutic support and contribute to safe, healthy lifestyles.

In this full-time role, the Healing Model Therapist will assess and provide therapeutic counseling to children, youth, and adults, using culturally appropriate approaches aligned with community beliefs. You will ensure that mental wellness outcomes are achieved by working collaboratively within M’Chigeeng’s dedicated teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform client assessments to identify wellness needs
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Offer therapy sessions based on Emotion-Focused principles
• Work with families and support networks for better outcomes
• Report on therapeutic service statistics and client progress
