Head of MGA, Financial Lines & Casualty Underwriting

Manage the MGA, Casualty & Financial Lines division whose primary objective is to drive, construct and manage the MGA, Casualty & Financial Lines portfolio for the underwriting team which includes being a referral underwriter for the Facultative and Treaty team for those said lines.

Job Description

• Underwrite MGA and Facultative Casualty & Financial Lines risks including as a 4-eye referral point for Financial Lines and Casualty classes for other divisions

People Management

• Guide the team on underwriting risk exposure analysis including motivating team to achieve higher standard of performance
• Supervise subordinates’ day to day activities

Training

• Conduct training periodically internally (underwriters, claims) and externally (clients)

Marketing

• Generate business through marketing efforts for MGA Casualty and Financial Lines risks
