Head of Asset Management

Our client is currently recruiting a Head of Asset Management & Performance who will be accountable for maximizing the performance, availability, and effectiveness of all assets across their site. This role leads the development and execution of performance strategies, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost‑effective production.

Responsibilities

Asset Performance

• Own and drive the asset performance strategy for the plant
• Ensure optimal asset performance through preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance programs.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) processes to eliminate recurring equipment failures and improve long‑term reliability.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and maintenance costs.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers, craft and apprentices.
