Base pay range: CA$65,000.00/yr - CA$80,000.00/yr
Job Summary
AMK Global is hiring an experienced Head Chef with a strong background in upscale fine dining to lead an award‑winning dining destination in Burlington, Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Manage all BOH operations , including labor scheduling and productivity
- Ensure flawless execution of every dish in taste, temperature, and presentation
- Manage daily service in a high‑volume, open kitchen
- Maintain excellence across premium steaks, sushi, seafood, raw bar offerings
- Partner with Executive Chef & General Manager on menu execution and seasonal menu
- Execute clean, modern plating with consistent presentation standards
- Control food costs through effective ordering, inventory, portioning, and waste control
- Hire, train, coach , and develop a high‑performing kitchen team
