Hauora Māori Engagement Lead

Ormiston Hospital is seeking a Hauora Māori Engagement Lead to provide cultural leadership, strengthen relationships with Māori communities, and support equitable health outcomes for Māori patients and whānau.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, with a dotted line to the Quality and Risk Manager, this full-time role will support quality improvement, patient and whānau experience, staff education, certification requirements, and the Hauora Māori Committee.

You will help embed Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori, tikanga Māori, and Māori perspectives into our services, policies, and decision‑making. You will also provide cultural support and guidance for Māori patients and whānau, working alongside clinical and hospital teams to support respectful, culturally safe care.
