Requirements: Networking Ethernet background Expertise in High-Speed Ethernet Serdes interfaces: NRZ, PAM-4 100G Expertise in Ethernet Physical Layer (Layer 1) - Serdes, MAC, PCS, including debugging L1 issues for interoperability Strong background in Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Electromagnetics, Thermal analysis, Multi-lane crosstalk analysis, and RF applications related to IC packaging and PCB design Experience with tools: HyperLynx, Ansoft SIWave, HFSS, ADS, Sigrity, PowerSI, PowerDC, Cadence Allegro, Polar stack-up Ability to perform schematic and layout reviews effectively Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Perl, or Unix shell Knowledge of MATLAB and Python is a plus Ability to operate equipment: Servers (Windows/Linux), oscilloscopes, traffic generators (Ixia/Spirent/Xena), environmental chambers, thermal heads, Keysight VNA/TDR Capability to program high-speed/optics modules and connect with vario...
