HANDYMAN, HOSPITAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

Responsibilities

• Support nursing and other clinical staff in the operation of facilities system
• Ensure the hospital & surrounding areas are kept clean (roofing, balcony, fire exit staircase, drains, compound, landscaping, car parking area)
• Touch up internal building painting
• Repair or touch up ceiling in the building
• Rectify leaking problems
• Complete job requests and maintain them in a standard filing system
• Check stock level for parts, paints and related chemical use
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygienic conditions in the work area
• Report all complaints promptly to the Head of Service
• Ensure proper utilization of supplies and power to avoid waste
• Adhere to hospital policies and the Code of Conduct
