Join a multidisciplinary team as a Gynecologist focused on obstetrics in Kelowna, British Columbia. Your expertise will enhance patient care within a well-structured home call schedule.
In this position, you will provide consultative obstetric care while maintaining a shared care model with family physicians. In addition to managing high-risk obstetrics, you will engage in operative gynecologic procedures, utilizing advanced surgical facilities. Training the next generation of medical professionals is also a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency gynecology services within a 1:10 call schedule
• Collaborate with family practice for primary obstetric care
• Contribute to neonatal care within a referral centre
• Perform advanced gynecologic and laparoscopic surgeries
• Supervise students and trainees from the Southern Medical Program
