Job Description
Group Fitness Instructor
The City of St. Albert is recruiting individuals to join our Recreation & Parks department as Group Fitness Instructors to lead various group classes.
Qualifications
- 1 or more of the following certifications is required: Fitness Alberta, Water Art, CanFitPro, Zumba, or 200‑ or 500‑hour Yoga certification, but not limited to, as other equivalent or related certifications may be considered.
- Current Standard First Aid Certification.
- Preference will be given to those with prior instruction experience.
- Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
Hours of Work
Hours of work are determined by class times, which take place during operational hours of 5:30 – 9:30.
Term
This position has an end date of December 31, with a possibility of an extension.
