Group Accountant Cape Town: Southern Suburbs

This position is suitable for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant with up to one year of post-articles experience. The position forms part of the Group reporting team of a JSE listed business. Training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Form part of the Group reporting team
• Monthly reporting
• Quarterly reporting
• Draft IFRS compliant annual financial statements for subsidiaries, including submission and finalisation with the external auditors
• Perform analytical reviews and completeness checks on the forecast and budgets presented by different business units
• Consolidate, reconcile, and draft allocated notes for the Consolidated Annual Financial statements for the Group
• Audit queries
• IFRS implementation
• Ad hoc tasks

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
