Job Title: Summer Grounds maintenance

Main Tasks: Grounds maintenance, lawn care, general clean up

Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Executive Director

Workdays: Evenings / Weekends

Hours: 20-30/h weekly

Position Summary

The Cowichan Sportsplex is seeking a part-time, evenings and weekends grounds maintenance worker who would be part of the team responsible for the care of the landscaping for the 26-acre facility. The position is for the summer months until the early fall. Day-to-day tasks include mowing grass, weeding, small repairs, daily garbage collection and routine maintenance around the facility. An outdoor working environment with some indoor janitorial and building maintenance required.
