Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 Matric certificate with pure Mathematics and a Science subject result of 65% or greater
- Must be willing to train in any one of the following trades: Aircraft Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Aircraft Sheet Metal
- The desire to complete the Basic Training with diligence and effort, the willingness to participate in hands‑on maintenance on live aircraft during scheduled breaks from the Basic Training provider
- Must be unemployed and willing to complete a 3‑year apprenticeship program
