About The Unit

Yara Africa Fertilizer (Pty) Ltd has an opportunity for a Graduate Agronomist. This position will be based in the Bethlehem area of the Eastern Free State Province. This is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on experience in fertilizer recommendations, soil management and sustainable farming under the mentorship of experienced agronomists.

Responsibilities

• Field Scouting and Data Collection: Monitoring crops for pests, weeds, and diseases, and conducting soil and water samples.
• Field Trials and Research: Assisting with the design, planting, and management of research trials, including testing new fertilizer regimes or seed varieties.
