Job Description
Become a full-time Grade 2 Educator at Lighthouse Christian Academy in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. This position offers a unique opportunity to teach while integrating the Alberta Program of Studies with Christian values.
In the academic year, we are looking for a mature Christian teacher to lead grade 2 students in two classrooms. You will engage with a diverse group of learners, guiding their education through effective planning, instruction, and evaluation. Collaboration with educational assistants and participation in Christian programming like devotions are key components of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and instruct grade 2 curriculum effectively
• Monitor and evaluate students’ learning journey
• Offer hands-on support with educational assistants
• Conduct Bible classes and spiritual activities
• Maintain a positive team-oriented atmosphere
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education Degree required
