Geospatial Data Structure Specialist

Scope of work
The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) is issuing the attached Task Order Solicitation to support LADBS staff in the development of the Los Angeles City Permitting System (LACPS). The specialist will assist in analyzing, designing, and implementing GIS layers and geospatial data structures essential for mapping and address verification in permit and plan check applications.

The Los Angeles Department of Building & Safety's (LADBS) Technology Services Bureau requires a Geospatial Data Structure Specialist to support the development of GIS layers and geospatial data workflows critical for the Los Angeles City Permitting System (LACPS). As LACPS will replace legacy systems such as the Plan Check and Inspection System (PCIS), Electronic Plan Review System (ePlanLA), and Epermit System (PermitLA), this role is crucial for establishing a modern, integrated GIS infrastructure to streamline permitting and inspection workflows.
