Job Purpose Statement

The GIS Officer is responsible for providing a professional GIS support function to DTPC and managing the GIS geo database and software’s.

Key Performance Areas GIS Management Compare and contrast different commercial GIS software packages, data collection tools and motivate for the various procurement options to DTPC. Operate GIS system components including hardware, software and printers Act as a custodian of GIS and or GEO database, ensuring that it is properly utilised and any additional changes are implemented in a methodological and systematic way.
